Prakash Boys Institute – Application Process
Eligibility:
- Application for Prakash Institutes of India Government Diploma course is open to any resident of Maharashtra state who is a baptized Protestant Christian, (government of India does not allow conversions).
- Must have completed the SSC/HSSC (the equivalent of tenth grade in American schools.
- Students from other states may apply and be admitted. They are not eligible for a Government Diploma, but can be awarded a Certificate from the Institute.
Application process:
- Prospective students can obtain a Prakash Institutes of India Application Form from the Institutes office or by downloading and printing one off the website.
- The application must be completed by the applicant in his own handwriting.
- The application must be returned in its entirety by the indicated deadline in order for the student to be considered for admission.
- Once a prospective student’s completed application is reviewed, he will be contacted for an interview with Institute administration and staff members.
A completed application includes:
- completed application form
- application fee of 30 Rs. (about 65 American cents)
- school Transfer Certificate (Photocopy copy)
- transcript of SSC/HSSC mark list (Photocopy copy)
- two character recommendation letters
- medical certificate
- personal testimony
- baptism certificate (Photocopy copy)
- Under Poverty Line card (Photocopy copy)
